Disastrous 8.9 Quake

Never be surprised to know there is earthquake in Malaysia. The news of Tsunamis in Penang shocked my cousins and uncle when we were havin dinner last night with a call from my other cousin sister in Penang.

Initial newspaper released just reported 20 deaths caused by the waves. However later, news and calls coming in increases the toll. The environment become tensed but luckily everyone we know are safe in Penang. Only this morning my maternal uncle was nearly caught by the Tsunamis when he went out fishing on his speedboat.

The disastrous 8.9 quake on Ritcher scale shocked almost everyone in the whole world.More than 11,000 lifes were taken. Lets pray for the good and hope for the best.

Drastic Drop

Recent drop of hits on my blog has seriously concerned me. Well, i am unsure is it because of my change of blogging topics or daily chores are filling up all the surfing time of my loyal readers.

Its been quite a while my always confusing methaphors has not been up on my blog. Friends and readers complained that its hardly readeable and understandable. I changed. The current style was more on realization and diary-writing (i dont like diary-like-blogs, sigh) as it is easy to read. However, if im not mistaken, its been drifting more towards diary. Well, Im trying to sway back to more on technical terms on it and hopefully more readers will be tempted to click on the link.

Moreover, William, Dave and I are currently on a project named "Pigeons Project" where we started up a public blog. We are still working on it.. while the preview of it can be viewed here

Gathering

Looking back and recalling back sweet memories are alawys good to realize ourselves on what we did and what we had done so far.. but nothing is better than meeting them in person and chat over some snacks and drinks.

The Gathering yesterday night was nothing more than meaningful and tearsome to me. It really meant a lot a lot to me. I felt the lost of a few that could not come and some even come to the extend tearing face apart with someone they respect because of this gathering. I would like to express my deepest appreciation. Thank You.

They are friends from my high school, friends that i depend alot, friends that shares my experience everyday in college, friends that shares my sorrow and laughter and most of all.. they shaped me.

Dawn @ Summerset

Its a good breakaway from dust and hustle bustle of city life. A trip to Summerset Resort, Kuala Rompin, Pahang for the past few days gave everyone a time to relax themselves.

Its a pity that the first day we dare not try the beach as its foamy and the waves are rough. Though, we were told the foam are not caused by any types of chemicals or so, but its the effect of the strong current from low and high tide.

There were campfires, by the windy and rough sea.. using dry twigs and trunks. Well, the sky is just fantastic that night where most of us saw at least 3 or more shooting stars. The sky is just too clear. Oh yeah, the trip was for a reward from Dato' Loy to our Volleyball Tournament organizing committee. And of course there is a certificate presentation to the committee that had worked hard for the Inter College Tournament.

Here are some photos.., there will be more photos uploaded. Its been a long day. =)

Occu-paid

How good is to occupy urself with work and work? Well loads of work lies in front of my path ahead of my departure to Adelaide soon, next year.

Its always good to see you have things to do to occupy yourself with work that u enjoy rather than you have too much time to think those dragging and mesmerizing memories. Those could make me feel sad and lost. Its good to help the college as a student helper, enjoying the last moments of a student in college while earning some patty cash.

Im extremely free and please do ask me out! Or if not u have to wait till i come back next november... hahaaa

Forbidden Me

How much actually do you expect from your parents or guardians? Each child has been raised in different ways and environment. They are all influenced by how they are taught and what they experience during their life with their guardians.

Some children are lucky to have good and open minded parents where they are granted their wishes rationally which this is what i said practical teaching. Letting the children do whatever they want, again rationally to let the realization of the pro and cons of what they are doing come by themselves. With this, they would had trained themselves on how to deal with the situation if future happened of the similar situation. Parents are by their side to guide them but not to stop them by doing it.

For instance, say a couple of parents are afraid of their 3 year-old daughter of hurting herself thus they forbid her from running and even walking fast.. do you think this will ever prevent her from falling ??? would this help her from not screaming when she DID fall? NO! In this way.. if she did fall, the pain is much more greater and surprised and shocked herself. This situation is similar to teaching and allowing childrens to try new things on their own rationally with guidance.

Communication is a very important tool to lead to a good understanding between them. Raising their voice and hierachy is a bad thing to apply in a family. Parents, true that they should earn their respect but they should always humble themselves to pull themselves near enough to earn the care and respectable effort from their children but not harsh and hard way. (not everyone is applicable) Yes, it is true that, no matter what we should respect and love them as they are our parents!! Well, they sometimes tend not to admit what they did is not right.. that causes the havoc in everything and they will start scolding and forbidding things.

Well.. by having good parents, treasure them, love them.. and be happy with youself.

Freedom

This is an issue that has been long exists within ourselves and our society. Free to speak, free to act and free to commit. However what is actually playing it?

Most of us will define this phrase as free to move around and travel and free to hang around with friends and strangers. The deeper meaning of this is much more difficult to define and solve. What is really trapped is our own mind and soul in our own physical appearance.

Well great, thanks to the innovation and creation of technology and broadband internet, where we are free in a sense of knowlegde and opinion and we are able to get lots of information and salvage whatever we cant perform physically or in real life. For some of us, the computer and internet is the only mean to express and get in touch with the outside world.

Locking up someone physically could harm someone emotionally and practically, that person could be filled with anger and frustration. This could be dangerous that could lead to an unusual disorder and the social pack is way cut off.

Its very reasonable to allow one to speak and act freely in order to initiate the inspiration of being included into the society and family.. saying NO to freedom could cause a hefty price if follow up actions are not taken at once.

It always feel like being handcuffed or chained up.. the master loosen up for a moment, then tighten and almost strangled you.. what is the point? This soul imprisonment has already started to affect the social life and its unforeseeable what will happen in future..

2 for 1 or 1 for 2

Was kinda 'forced' by someone to go shopping and its the Metrojaya Preview sale!! While waiting ... noticed a lot of things and put up lots of puzzles.. well.. all ladies(practically) carries a handbag out.. without fail. Is it a must to carry one?

Potential Answer: yeah!, wallets, tissue, handphone, lipstick, etc...

There are a huge crowd at ladies department and upstairs the gents', just a few.... and there are sections where chunks and piles of 'Best Buy' items crowded with ladies.. i was thinking is this phrase true...

Guys pay RM 2 for RM 1 items they really need,
Ladies pay RM 1 for RM 2 items they dont need.

Think about it.. oh yeah.. that someone bought me lots of stuff and i bought her some too... and guess who is she.. ;)
