The Price to Realize
An apple is always an apple unless it is grounded, blended or mashed.. or there are some other forms. But one thing, no matter what way or method the apple will be processed, the origin of the apple is still an apple.
I am speaking and talking about this at this very moment to recall those had happenend back these few weeks or even a month or two. People start having difficulties in handling their lifestyles where sometimes the effort to differentiate is so mighty that we cant even perform. For instance, differentiation is a way to set our mind to perform tasks that we think its relevant to perform. However, by setting the focus to a point, say if something came up all of a sudden, everything planned will be screwed.
Move a step backwards, realize what we are actually looking for, before moving forward a step at a time. Overstepping might bring yourself into another realm.
Things do happen, in a way or two either we kaer or not. It might be bad, good or even something that may crush something entirely totally flat. We have to learn and know that, every gain, there is pain; every pain there is a gain. Its all up to us how do we define the situation and how soon we realize what is actually going on.

The Broken Arrow
There are things that we intended to do or wanted to perform. However, it is not a must that it will work out the way we wish to.
On the way to the long lying jetty, there are shores to walk on, waves to wet ourselves and breeze to feel. Situations are undecided until we get our hands on it. Sometimes the wooden planks of the jetty might break or squeak a little, but it all depends on yourself to decide taking the risk. Wise and rational analytical thinking is the time to take place assisting your decision making process. But anyhow, try not to hesitate too much as even an unbroken plank might break when it cant support ur weight too long. Make a swift decision and move. Do not halt right in the middle and you might never know that somehow, someone is waiting behind having the same intention might make a cross over.
Make a stand and go for it. Hesitation does not help anything. Too much hesitants will only load yourself up more but not less!
It is the same principle with a heavy arrow with some chicken feathers on the tip or a blunt arrow head to start with. Even the master bow cant penetrate the bullseye with a blunt arrow head. Before striking the arrow, be sure that the arrow head is sharp and usable not a blunt and some lame heavy metal piece sticking on the head of the arrow. Adding, i dont think if a blunt arrow head is still called an arrow.

Man
Staring at the pc screen, stoned, my mind is now jumbling up all the trashes that had happened.. from what had happened recently right back up to grandfather story. I've watched Monkey King recently on the VCD serials.. which reminds me of the question.. how to be a Man.
Men were animals once, and through evolutions, what differenciate Men and animals/creatures? Yes, we have feelings. Men were given feelings to create civilizations, reproductions, knowledge but also war, sufferings and hatred. Its been decades, centuries we were here stepping on the ground of earth living in the society and deals with social life. Challenges and hurdles keep testing Men's patience and the truthfullness in controlling their feelings.
Quote from Manda:
"..they are acting from their feelings and not their head.."
I feel like what manda said is right, which Men tends to act through their polluted feelings which swayed their thoughts. Why holy persons are so calm and rational cause they had cleaned their feelings, which will never pollute their mind and decision making.
Im not trying to say that, Men have to be all converted into monks/pastors/holy people to be rational. Its that, Men, should expose themselves well enough to know the way of life in sections of society which potrays different characteristics. How we think and where are we standing, influences the point of view and the distance we can see in each situation.

Role Of A Quantity Surveyor : Part II
COST CONTROLLING
Projects in construction industry involve lots of aspects and parties, which includes skilled and unskilled labour, suppliers for materials, sub-contractors and plant hiring. That is why usually a project manager is needed to get everything done in schedule and well organized. However, project management covers a much more wider scope where cost control is just one of the essential part of the project. It is always defined as overall planning and control the cost of work right from the inception stage to completion.
Purpose of Cost Control
Cost controlling had become an important factor in projects in construction industry, which considered as one of the high risked industry. It is to implement the project by having the maximum possible profit from what is invested into it. Generally there are a few factors that will result the client into backruptcy. To name a few, poor briefing of the project details by the consultants, the use of improper cost estimation method and insufficient emphasis to cost control during construction period.
Budgeting
it means setting a preparation of an accurate of comprehensive cost plan to ensure there is a realistic cost target are set. The allocation of an amount of money to the project could mean that limits the maximum expenditure that is planned to be invested by the client. With this, the risk of abandoning the project is much lower with the budget already allocated before the start of construction.
Cost Controlling
A good cost conrolling are a ble to detect the fluctuations between the cost of work during construction and planned standards. For instance, materials should be check all the time to ensure the delivery from suppliers met the qualities and quantities specified. When come to the hoisting, cutting and fabricating works, those should be done properly to prevent unnecessary waste and misuse. In workmanship or labourship, they should be monitored so that their productivity rate is at the optimum rate to prevent delay of work done.
Cost Monitoring
Monitoring the costs could mean some preventions in cost controling. Alterations or VO (Variation Order) by the client are taken seriously as it might increase the budget allocated and other than the client, no other parties are allowed to increase any form of budget in the project. However, there are exceptionals where if there are some circumstances that tehre are no other alternatives but to exceed the budget allocated, the client should be notified by a written request.
While the whole monitoring process is proceeding, the client should be given a periodic cost report to keep the client informed of the current financial situation.
